The Great Falls Arts Festival takes place on September 1st and 2nd from 12pm to 11pm at The Dolphin Mills [map]. There's a great lineup of music both days, as well as craftsmen and artists and plenty of food. The Festival is a benefit for the Ivanhoe Artists Mosaic. Ticket are $12 at the door.
And Sunday afternoon, just up the street in Haledon, celebrate the true meaning of Labor Day with the 21st annual Labor Day parade. The ceremony and the parade begin at 1pm Sunday, at the Botto House National Landmark, which serves as the American Labor Museum.
